OPEN POSITIONS

Mechanical Assembler

• Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• 4+ years of experience as a mechanical/manufacturing assembler
• Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skill Requirement:

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Must be knowledgeable of shop math. Good measurement skills. The ability to perform simple arithmetic computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• The ability to use computer to input, access, modify, or output information. Including clock in and out of work orders using manufacturing software.
• Ability to operate machines. General knowledge of machines and equipment functionality, and how tools could be used on such equipment/machines. This includes the ability to learn new systems quickly, understanding how parts relate, and how they impact system functionality.
• Knowledge and ability to use torque wrenches to adjust parts and equipment, or install parts and equipment, following established specifications and procedures. Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrappers). The ability to read and use micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges, comparators, indicator setups, scales.
• The ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility. Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques (e.g., formalized inspection standards, inspection instructions, best practices) and use inspection tools efficiently.
• The ability to identify problems and to assist with resolution. This also includes the ability to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills.

Physical Requirement:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours.
• Ability Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary: twist, turn, push, pull, standing, walking, and bending. Manual dexterity or the ability to work quickly with hands and ability to utilize hand tools repetitively.

Electrical Cable Assembly

• Onsite testing for this position.
• Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Manufacturing Assembler.
• Must know AC/DC Circuit Theory.
• Must read Schematics.
• Must be able to use Digital Multimeters.
• Must be able to use OHM Meters.
• Must know Assembly.
• Electrical aptitude required.

• Physical Requirement – ability to utilize hand tools repetitively with includes but not limited to twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and bending. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Bilingual Sales Representative
(Outside & Inside Sales)

Initial Training:

16 weeks paid training

Compensation:

$20K year base + up to 5% commission + Sales Goal Bonuses

Description:

BE&SCO manufactures commercial flour tortilla/flatbread equipment, pizza equipment and tamale equipment. Our customers are restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, c-stores and universities etc. We manufacture the equipment in San Antonio, Texas and sell equipment worldwide. BE&SCO Sales Representatives develop new business, retain and service our clients. Promote our products and services to customers and negotiate contracts with the aim of satisfying the customer’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in all BE&SCO products and services. Also become an expert in many types of dough, masa, tortilla, pizza and tamale product.
• Build pipeline using various customer sales methods (prospecting, email, cold-calling, responding to inquiries, face-to-face, attend tradeshows etc.)
• Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Generate and develop new business to meet sales goals and targets.
• Evaluate the customer needs and demonstrate equipment to customer.
• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand the customer’s specific needs.
• Prepares and presents sales proposals, negotiates contracts and work agreements.
• Follow up with the customer and handle objections.
• Close the deal.
• Organize and conduct training and sales visits.
• Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Proven sales experience and ability to close the deal.
• Confident, driven, energetic and self-motivated.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Ability to be hands-on mastering equipment and dough.
• Proficient with technology and software: Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Valid Driver’s license, good driving record and passport.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (30% or less)
• Ability to work weekends and after hours.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent, one to two years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bilingual Electrical Service Technician
(Commercial Kitchen Equipment)

Onsite test given!

Shift:

M-F 8:00 – 5:00 (on call on some nights and weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for performing all mechanical and electrical repairs on BE&SCO food equipment
• Will work directly with customers, end users and service companies

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English and Spanish

• Must know how to troubleshoot over the phone
